When drawing you're drawing linework, how can you make the lines so slim on the second picture with the hand?

It is very helpful, but you could have worded it a tad differently.  I mean..  It just sounds kinda uniform and cold, like THIS IS THE WAY IT MUST BE DONE, THIS IS HOW YOU BECOME GOOD SO STFU AND LET ME TEACH YOU BIATCH.  xD idk how else to put it!

Wow !! I've always noticed how the thickness of the outlines vary in my favorite artist's pieces ,but I never could reproduce such a thing in my drawing .

I didn't know when to thicken and when to make the line thin ,except for the inner folds of cloths .

Thank you for your useful tutorial . I'll make sure to use it in my upcoming drawings ,God willing

I'm not too good with line variation. ^_^" I think this might have some good tips, but it still feels over my head right now. Perhaps I'll look over it again later.

I guess what confuses me the most about line variation is how many situations there are for lines to vary. Thicker lines in the foreground, thicker lines in shadowed areas, maybe thicker lines for outlines, and here you have thicker lines for heavier/harder objects and thinner lines to show pressure. I don't know how to tell when to do what. ^_^" What if I have a picture where the background is in shadow, and/or there's heavy objects in the background? I wouldn't know if I should have thicker or thinner lines in the foreground. And the thinner lines to show pressure contrasts with having thicker lines for outlines of objects.

hm, i think each drawing is unique. and in second part of this tutorial has written some tips that can also be used.

It hard to me to write my thoughts about it in English. but.... I think that an understanding of these tips comes with experience. more practice makes succes =)
